Job Description
Read blueprints, maintain clean work environment, available to work overtime as needed, cross training, working with several machines and tools Essential Job Functions Basic math skills, read tape measure within 1/32nd of an inch Read and interpret blueprints and welding, and material specifications / work instructions Position aligns, fit and weld parts using hand tools and welding equipment Perform first piece and in-process inspection by checking dimensions and quality of weld per blueprint using calipers, height gage, protractor, and square Learn Various machine operations Bake press, Turret punch, Iron worker, Saws, ect. Must be able to understand and follow basic work, safety and quality instructions Work independently or as part of a team and in a positive manner May work at heights requiring the proper PPE Must have reliable transportation Maintain a clean and safe work environment This position supports a Manufacturing facility and will require work in other areas throughout the plant 1-3 years MIG welding experience Welding certification not required, but preferred Basic math skills Able to learn and use multiple machines and tools Read blue prints Pay Range $17.50 - $24.00
