A rapidly expanding industrial firm in Arlington, WA is seeking skilled Welder / Fabricators to join their team. We are looking for individuals proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding who possess the ability to interpret blueprints and are eager to establish a long-term professional future with a dependable organization. Compensation and Shift Details Hourly rates range from $25.00 to $36.00, determined by your specific skills and background. Day shift hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime scheduled every other Saturday. Swing shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, with overtime scheduled every other Friday. This is a permanent, full-time career opportunity. Core Responsibilities Execute MIG, TIG, and Stick welding tasks on various structural and fabricated parts. Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specific weld requirements to guide your work. Prepare materials through layout, grinding, drilling, and punching processes. Utilize various fabrication tools and industrial machinery to improve production efficiency. Ensure precision by taking accurate measurements with a tape measure. Apply fundamental mathematical skills to support fabrication and production workflows. Assist in material handling to ensure smooth production operations. Help maintain a safe and organized work environment for the entire team. Participate in cross-training initiatives to expand your manufacturing and production capabilities. Professional Qualifications Proven background and hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate shop equipment effectively. Competency in using tape measures and applying shop-related math. Physical capability to lift, maneuver, and manage materials within an industrial setting. Dedication to fostering a culture of workplace safety. Workplace Environment This position is based in a heavy industrial manufacturing plant. You will be expected to navigate the following conditions: Proximity to heavy machinery and moving industrial materials. A combination of indoor and partially outdoor workspaces.
