Job Description

Silver Star Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position involves precision welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate welds.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment and tools. Monitor welding processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper penetration, strength, and appearance. Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Repair or rework welds as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and welding standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2 - 5 years of TIG welding experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Knowledge of welding safety practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Vocational or technical training in welding. Experience with additional welding processes (MIG, Stick). Welding certifications (AWS, ASME, or equivalent). Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15-25lbs. Must be able to safely use personal protective equipment (PPE).

$20.50 - $28.00 per hour
