Unique Custom Design is hiring a full-time Welder/Fabricator who can take a shop drawing and turn it into a finished, install-ready piece that looks as good as it holds. About Us We're an architectural and structural metal fabrication shop based in Toledo, WA, serving the whole Pacific Northwest. We build floating staircases, structural steel stairs, stainless handrail and guardrail packages, steel canopies, and feature gates for high-end homes and commercial projects, including schools. Everything we build is custom and built to drawings. What You'll Do Read shop drawings and build from them — layout, cutting, fitting, and tacking stairs, handrails, guardrails, and misc metals MIG and TIG weld carbon steel and stainless to a clean, finish-ready standard Check your work against the drawings — dimensions, square, and angles — before it leaves the shop Grind and prep welds for powder coat or galvanizing Help load, deliver, and install on job sites Keep your station clean, organized, and safe What You Need Hands-on experience in a structural, architectural, or custom fab shop Able to read shop drawings and work from them without hand-holding Clean, consistent MIG and TIG welds Nice to Have TIG on stainless, especially architectural or polished finish work Stair and railing experience — stringers, pipe rail, pickets, miters WABO or
