Job Description

Required Attachments:
Cover Letter Resume 2 Classified Reference Forms or Letters of Recommendation HS Diploma or Transcripts OR GED Diploma or Transcripts Transcripts for: Associate of Arts degree; or showing 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at an institution of higher education; or showing a passing grade of 455 or higher for the ETS ParaPro Assessment Driver abstract/valid driver's license
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Assists Transportation Supervisor, drivers and mechanic. Clerical duties to include data entry for STARS and other reports, answering phones and radio traffic.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary. Depending upon individual assignment, the office aide will perform all or a combination of several of the following duties: Ability to maintain a student centered, organized positive climate Ability to read, write and communicate effectively Communicate and respond effectively and in a friendly, professional manner with students, parents, community members, and school personnel. Confidential with a thorough knowledge of the school's purpose, functions, and practices. Track bus ridership. Communicate with parents regarding student transportation. Assists in administrative details. Assist with record maintenance, filing, and office procedures. Provide first aid care. Ability to accept responsibility and take direction Work collaboratively and collegially. Comply with district rules and regulations. Conduct all work in a safe manner as specified by district rules. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Skilled at record keeping and computers. Payroll timesheets Possible student transportation Track accounts payable/accounts receivable and send to district office
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma Associate of Arts Degree or 2 years of college credits Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Skyward Student Information System

STATE/DISTRICT MANDATED REQUIREMENTS
Valid First Aid/CPR/AED card or ability to attain one Fingerprinting (paid by employee) I-9 Employment Eligibility in compliance with the Immigration Reform Act HIV/HBV Training (district provided) Sexual Harassment Training (district provided)
BENEFITS
