Welder (MIG, TIG & Robotic)

Schedule:

1st Shift - Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week! Some overtime opportunities available!

What You'll Do:

Use MIG, TIG, and Robotic welding techniques to fabricate parts per specifications Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for each job Accurately read and interpret fabrication blueprints Position and arrange components for welding and staging Perform welds up to ¼" on mild steel in the flat position Review assemblies to ensure they meet strict quality and accuracy standards Safely operate equipment and maintain a clean, efficient workspace Detect and report material or equipment issues promptly Work both independently and collaboratively to meet production goals Assist other departments as needed (Fab, Press Brake, etc.) Why Work with PMI? Table:

High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1+ year professional experience in

MIG & TIG

welding Minimum 1+ year experience reading and interpreting complex welding blueprints Strong math and measurement skills Proven ability to deliver quality results with minimal supervision Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and a commitment to workplace safety

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently Stand for long periods (entire shift) Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina All candidates will be given a weld skills assessment at time of the interview; including MIG and TIG welding and reading and interpreting fabrication blueprints. If possible, please bring your own welding gear (helmet & gloves) for the interview process and if hired at PMI.
