Job Description

Welder KSM Industries Germantown, WI 2nd
Shift Job Summary:
MIG weld on mild steel from 20 gauge up to ¼" thickness Complete weld jobs using different fixtures/jigs, open table set up, and work instructions. Ability to read weld symbols, blueprints, and perform necessary job set ups to ensure customer specifications are met. Ability to qualify to necessary weld specifications including
AWS, ASME
IX, and NAVSEA welding certifications. Able to use conventional and precision measuring tools. Follow safety rules and use safe work practices. Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications, and instructions. Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment and machines. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, while following safety regulations. Education and/or
Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/welding environment.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of work shift Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Flexibility to work overtime if needed.
