Angela Hospice was founded over 35 years ago, rooted on values of respect, dignity, and compassion - and that caring vision extends to not only the patients and families we care for, but to our team members, colleagues, and the community. We're looking for a Philanthropy Coordinator who shares this vision.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates philanthropic activities across Angela Hospice's varied audiences; including but not limited to donor cultivation, major gift development and planned giving opportunities Demonstrates success in fundraising and using written and visual communications to help Angela Hospice meet its strategic goals Demonstrates Moves Management of donors and partners Grow individual giving programs; especially first-time/one-time donors Build corporate giving opportunities Coordinates major gift and planned giving cultivation and stewardship Cultivates Legacy Society members and recognition opportunities Enhances monthly giving program and levels Identifies, maintains and tracks qualifying major gift prospects and their financial advisors Assists in researching and writing grant requests to foundations, corporations, government resource individuals, and private agencies Generates reports and analytics to build and enhance donor giving opportunities Research prospective donors, identifying projects or programs and suggesting appropriate methods for cultivating relationships Supports fundraising and donor programming opportunities by creating budgets, timelines and essential task logs for events, campaigns and functions Creates effective written and visual donor communications for Angela Hospice's multiple audiences across platforms, whether on social media, email newsletters, or mailed fundraising appeals Assists in coordinating events, appeals, campaigns, and solicitation materials Coordinates funder communications from solicitation through recognition and impact reports Plans and tracks all corporate and funder recognition throughout grant/sponsorship periods
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field 3 years of related experience Experience in donor CRM platforms/software (Raiser's Edge, Little Green Light, etc.) Experience in non-profit fundraising Excellent writing skills Excellent communication skills and public speaking abilities Experience with social media tools Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Familiar and experience with Moves-Movement, Donor-Centric, and Community-Centric practices
