The Garrett Group is seeking a highly qualified Regional Affairs Analyst with strong interagency and Combatant Command (CCMD) experience, as well as focused expertise in Middle East regional dynamics. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to support international policy development, coordination, and analysis in complex strategic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert analysis and assessments on Middle East regional issues, security trends, and geopolitical developments. Support interagency and CCMD coordination related to international affairs and regional planning. Develop briefings, reports, and policy recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning and execution of overseas engagements, partner-nation interactions, and multinational initiatives.
  • Conduct research and contribute to long-term regional strategy development.
Maintain awareness of emerging trends and provide timely updates to relevant teams.
Required Qualifications:
At least 7 years of interagency and/or CCMD desk officer experience in international affairs.
  • Overseas experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in international affairs, economics, or an equivalent field.
Minimum of 3 years of direct experience working on Middle East affairs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting senior government officials, military organizations, or diplomatic missions. Strong writing, briefing, and analytical skills. Ability to collaborate in fast-paced, dynamic environments. The
