  • Journeyman provides advisory and assistance services to the
USSTRATCOM
National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC) Training Office, supporting E-4B Battle Staff instruction, exercises, and readiness activities. The ideal candidate uses E-4B Battle Staff knowledge to support integrated scenarios, training products, and team proficiency in a classified environment. Duties and Responsibilities Support initial, recurring, and collective Watch Officer and Battle Staff training. Assist with Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Mission Qualification Training (MQT), and Watch Officer refresher instruction using Government-furnished training materials. Review lesson plans and prepare updates to instruction and practical exercises for Government review. Assist with integrated exercise preparation, scenario timelines, role-player materials, and section-specific certification and evaluation events. Support section-specific and recurring Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES) training. Provide lessons-learned and deficiency inputs to the training directorate; support training-plan, manual, and computer-based training updates. Prepare assigned technical reports and presentation materials and support feedback collection. Transport classified material between during designated events after required courier training. Minimum Qualifications A minimum of three years of NAOC Battle Staff experience, plus an additional five years of demonstrated relevant experience within USSTRATCOM or the National Military Command System (NMCS). Prior operational NAOC Battle Staff service on the E-4B platform. United States citizenship and a current Top-Secret clearance with NC2/ESI, SCI, and SAP access. On-site availability, 7:00 a.m

m., Monday-Friday, with coordinated mission or exercise adjustments. Ability to provide mission-essential support, travel within CONUS, and complete required security, courier, in-processing, and annual training. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Skills to plan and prepare Watch Officer and Emergency Actions training, including Survivable Mobile Command Center Central Manager and Federal Emergency Management Agency support operations. Training-support skills for Communications, Strategic Operations/Presidential Strike Advisor, and Current Operations/Surveillance Officer, Section Head, and Residual Capabilities Assessment. Skills to support Intelligence and Team Chief training, executive-level familiarization with other Battle Staff responsibilities, and collective onboard voice, data, video, and NPES training. Ability to apply Instructional System Design principles and NAOC Joint Mission Essential Task standards to training products. Ability to safeguard classified information, perform authorized courier duties, and deliver accurate training and reporting products. Preferred Qualifications Previous SAP access experience relating to the NC3 community. Depth contributing to mandatory team coverage in ISD/training, NPES/Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment, Watch Officer, Strategic Operations, Current Operations, Emergency Actions, Intelligence, and
