  • The Social Media Manager owns the AmeriGas social media presence end-to-end. Duties include creating content, working collaboratively to develop and maintain content calendars, scheduling posts, providing timely responses to comments, and tracking and reporting on performance KPIs. This person will also be responsible for taking our online presence to the next level
  • exploring additional opportunities to expand our reach and further engage current and potential customers in more meaningful ways. Essential Functions
  • Strategy Development
  • Create and implement comprehensive social media strategy to support growth and retention goals. Stay abreast of social media trends, best practices, platform updates, and technological advances, and translate into actionable plans for AmeriGas. Content Calendar Creation
  • Collaborates with other members of the Marketing team, and broader organization, to develop content calendars. Content Creation and Posting
  • Owns day to day content creation and maintenance of AmeriGas social media channels. Community Engagement
  • Responds quickly to customer comments and facilitates necessary follow-up from Customer Experience team when escalation or resolution of a customer issue is necessary. Social Listening
  • Track news stories and other notable online mentions of AmeriGas and share for follow-up. Analytics and Reporting
  • Monitor channel performance, report monthly, and make recommendations to improve. Additional responsibilities as directed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 5+ years of social media management experience, graphic design & content creation Ability to align strategic and creative thinking Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Experience with Sprout Social a plus Thorough understanding of marketing analytics, customer engagement KPIs, & reporting Experience with Adobe Illustrator Customer-focused mindset Education and Experience
  • BS in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant degree 5+ years marketing experience Experience in CRM tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, Marketing Automation tools such as Oracle Eloqua a plus AmeriGas Propane, Inc.
