Job Summary Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning or designee, the Visual Communications & Graphic Design Specialist develops professional-quality graphic design, multimedia, branding, and visual communication materials that support instructional programs, student engagement, family communication, and District initiatives. The position also supports Proposition 28 Arts & Music programming by promoting student creativity through digital arts, graphic design projects, student showcases, and visual arts enrichment opportunities.

Letter of Introduction, current resume, proof of high school diploma or equivalent, and three (3) recent professional letters of recommendation. A valid California Driver's License and First Aid/CPR Certification may be required for the assignment. The Visual Communications & Graphic Design Specialist will develop graphic design, multimedia, branding, photography, video, and visual communication materials for District programs and initiatives and will also support student digital arts and visual arts enrichment activities. Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in graphic design, digital media, marketing, communications, or visual arts is required. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Microsoft Office, photography, and video editing is preferred. Experience in an educational environment is desirable.
