Job Summary Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning or designee, coordinate and support the operation of the District Launch Pad career exploration center. Provide career exploration, coaching, and career-connected learning experiences for students and families; develop partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, workforce agencies, and educational partners; support the integration of career awareness activities with classroom instruction; maintain the Launch Pad space, equipment, schedules, and resources; and collect participation and outcome data to evaluate program effectiveness and support continuous improvement.

Requirements / Qualifications

Letter of Introduction, current resume, proof of high school diploma or equivalent, and three (3) recent professional letters of recommendation. A valid California Driver License and evidence of insurability may be required for assignments involving travel between District or community locations. Copy of Transcript Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation Resume Comments and Other Information The Launch Pad Specialist will coordinate and support the operation of the District's Launch Pad career exploration center, including career exploration activities, student and family support, community and business partnerships, program scheduling, and data collection. Experience working with both youth and adults in an instructional or coaching setting is required. College-level coursework or a degree in education, counseling, career development, workforce development, social sciences, or a related field is desirable.
