About the Role We are looking for a full-time Social Media & Patient Content Coordinator to help lead the day-to-day social media presence of a plastic surgery practice in Newport Beach. The main focus of this role is creating engaging content around the surgeon, patients, staff, procedures, recovery, and life inside the practice. This includes filming, editing, publishing, identifying content opportunities, and helping patients feel comfortable participating in testimonials, interviews, before-and-after content, and recovery updates. This is a highly visible, patient-facing role for someone who is creative, proactive, organized, comfortable on camera, and able to build strong relationships with both patients and coworkers. Key Responsibilities Social Media & Content Film and edit short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms Plan, organize, and publish Reels, Stories, educational posts, testimonials, before-and-after content, and behind-the-scenes footage Identify strong content opportunities throughout the workday Interview the surgeon, staff, and patients in a natural and engaging way Help develop recurring content series and new social media concepts Write captions, hooks, titles, and supporting copy Organize raw footage, photos, drafts, captions, and final content Monitor social media trends and content performance Support comments and direct messages when needed Patient Content Coordination Build professional, comfortable relationships with patients Help coordinate testimonials, interviews, before-and-after photography, recovery updates, and patient-generated content Attend selected consultations and appointments when useful for content Follow up with participating patients and help guide content from initial idea through publication Handle patient stories, images, and information with discretion and sound judgment Digital Marketing Support Assist with email campaigns, website content updates, CRM organization, digital asset management, and basic reporting Upload and format blogs, videos, galleries, and other website content Help keep marketing campaigns, contact lists, and content records organized Required Qualifications Experience creating and editing short-form social media content Strong understanding of social media platforms, storytelling, and visual presentation Comfortable interacting with patients, staff, and providers Comfortable appearing on camera and interviewing others Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills Professional, polished, reliable, and able to work independently Strong judgment when handling patient-related and sensitive content Comfortable working full-time in an in-office clinical environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in aesthetics, plastic surgery, beauty, wellness, luxury retail, bridal, hospitality, fitness, healthcare, or influencer marketing Experience managing client, patient, creator, influencer, or community relationships Experience with testimonials, events, partnerships, before-and-after content, or user-generated content Familiarity with email marketing, website updates, analytics, SEO, CRM systems, Meta Ads, or Google Ads Examples of measurable social media growth, engagement, reach, inquiries, or campaign results Work Samples Please include examples of social media content you created or helped create, along with a brief explanation of your role and any measurable results available.
