About Us Seminole Ventures Painting is a veteran-owned residential painting company serving Tallahassee and North Florida. We build a premium, warranty-backed brand on documented systems, and disciplined execution. We're growing fast, and we want the world to see it. That's where you come in. The Role You'll be our in-house storyteller. You'll be on job sites with a camera, capturing crews transforming homes, and riding along with our founder to film him talking straight to the camera about what we do and why homeowners trust us. Then you'll take that footage and turn it into short-form content that actually stops the scroll — Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts & long form and paid ad creative that brings us leads. This is not a desk job. You'll be out in the field several days a week, then editing and publishing the rest. What You'll Do Film on active job sites: crews working, prep, cut-ins, before/afters, time-lapses, drone shots Film founder-led content — talking-head videos, walk-and-talks, job site tours, customer interviews Edit short-form vertical video with strong hooks, captions, pacing, sound design, and b-roll Capture and edit customer testimonials and project reveals Plan and maintain a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Google Business Profile Create ad creative for Facebook/Instagram campaigns and iterate based on performance Shoot still photography for our website, proposals, and marketing materials Track what's working — views, watch time, saves, shares, leads — and double down on it Keep our footage organized, backed up, and easy to pull from What We're Looking For 2+ years creating video content — agency, in-house, freelance, or a personal channel you've grown A reel or portfolio of short-form vertical video you personally shot and edited Fluent in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro — we care about the output, not the software You understand hooks, retention, and why one video gets 400 views and the next gets 40,000 Comfortable directing on camera — you'll be telling the owner and crews where to stand and what to say again Self-directed. You'll get the goal, not a shot list Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to be on job sites in Florida heat Able to work around ladders, drop cloths, and active crews without getting in the way Bonus Points Part 107 drone certification (or willing to get one) Motion graphics, captions, and lower-thirds Experience with home services, construction, or trades content You own your own camera and audio gear Copywriting for captions and ad scripts Comfortable being on camera yourself What We Offer $25-50/hr based on experience Complete creative ownership — this is your department, not a task list A company with real momentum and stories worth telling How to Apply Send your resume plus links to three short-form videos you shot and edited yourself to cody@seminoleventures.com.
