Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content SpecialistPosition Summary We are seeking a Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Specialist to manage and administer content across a large-scale enterprise web platform. This role requires an experienced AEM professional who can independently author, build, and publish complex digital experiences—not simply maintain existing content. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience working within the AEM authoring environment, utilizing components and templates, managing publishing workflows, administering digital assets, and ensuring content governance across high-volume websites. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders to deliver engaging, high-quality digital experiences. Key Responsibilities Author, build, and publish web pages and content within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) using components, templates, and workflows. Manage the complete AEM content publishing lifecycle, including authoring, workflow approvals, and activation to production environments. Administer digital assets including images, documents, videos, and other multimedia content. Create and edit graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design applications. Develop, maintain, and publish AEM Forms for registrations, surveys, applications, and document submissions. Configure and maintain content security, user permissions, and asset access controls. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate communication strategies into effective digital experiences while providing guidance on AEM best practices and page architecture. Perform content quality assurance, proofreading, testing, and validation to ensure accuracy across enterprise websites. Maintain content governance standards, documentation, and organizational best practices. Troubleshoot authoring, workflow, and publishing issues, resolving content-related challenges independently while escalating platform-level issues when necessary. Support ongoing website enhancements, usability improvements, and digital content initiatives. Extensive hands-on experience authoring, building, and publishing content directly within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), beyond basic content editing. Strong knowledge of AEM components, templates, workflows, and publishing processes. Experience with AEM Forms or comparable enterprise forms platforms. Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of HTML and web content best practices. Experience with Adobe Analytics and enterprise digital asset management. Familiarity with enterprise video platforms such as Brightcove. Experience working with authentication, SSO, permissions, and access management. Knowledge of enterprise content management platforms such as Documentum is a plus. Experience with online community platforms (e.g., Discourse) is a plus. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to operate independently as a subject matter expert while collaborating effectively across business and technical teams.
