Full Job Description Part-Time Social Media & Content Coordinator Job Summary:
We're an interior design firm looking for a part-time Social Media Coordinator to bring our projects to life online. You'll work closely with our Creative Director and Lead Designer to develop content ideas, then shoot and edit the photo/video that brings them to life — alongside using existing content from our project archive. You'll also help manage a small PR component: sharing our press and published features, and pitching for more local and regional coverage. Website and Google listing SEO round out the role. We're looking for someone comfortable incorporating AI tools into their workflow to work smarter and faster. Duties Collaborate with the Creative Director and Lead Designer to develop content concepts rooted in our projects and brand voice Shoot and edit photo/video content (and repurpose existing project photography/video) for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms Manage content calendar and posting schedule using Later app or similar Write and post engaging captions and copy consistent with brand tone Support PR effort: share existing press placements, and help pitch/coordinate for new local and regional press features Manage and optimize website SEO and Google Business listing Track performance metrics (engagement, growth, traffic) and adjust content strategy accordingly Use AI tools where useful — content ideation, editing workflows, copy drafting, research — to work efficiently Requirements Experience with social media content creation and management (photography/videography a strong plus) Comfortable with editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere/CapCut, or similar) Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and Google Business listing management Strong writing skills and an eye for brand consistency Familiarity with using AI tools in a marketing/content workflow Interest in or experience with interior design, home, or lifestyle content is a plus Local to Charlotte — this is a hybrid, part-time role requiring occasional in-person shoots and studio time
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 10.0 per week
