Opportunity to continue and expand the role following the Arizona launch About the Role The Smart Fit Method is looking for a creative and dependable local content creator to help introduce our Arizona studios to the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley communities. This is a hands-on creative role focused on developing ideas, filming onsite, editing short-form videos, and building a strong library of local social content. You will collaborate closely with our Arizona marketing lead, who will manage the overall content calendar, campaign priorities, approvals, and publishing schedule. You will not be responsible for managing the entire social media strategy or posting calendar independently. The right person understands what makes people stop scrolling, feels comfortable directing people on camera, and knows how to turn a few hours at the studio into multiple pieces of polished content. What You'll Do Content Ideas and Planning Develop timely, Arizona-specific content ideas based on monthly themes and launch priorities Participate in a monthly planning conversation with the Arizona marketing lead Translate Smart Fit Method's services, technology, trainers, and member experience into content people will understand and want to watch Identify relevant social trends and adapt them naturally to the brand Recommend creative ways to introduce Smart Fit Method to the local community Prepare a simple shot list before each onsite content session Onsite Content Creation Plan and lead approximately two onsite filming sessions per month Film trainers, equipment, studio experiences, educational topics, partnerships, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes moments Help trainers and other participants feel comfortable and natural on camera Capture reusable photography and B-roll during each session Coordinate filming needs and participant availability in advance Make efficient use of each session by capturing enough material for multiple pieces of content Editing and Content Delivery Produce approximately 6-8 polished short-form videos per month Edit mobile-first vertical videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other relevant platforms Use strong hooks, pacing, captions, music, graphics, and calls to action where appropriate Provide a first-draft caption with each finished video Create occasional supporting Story assets or simple graphics Maintain an organized library of raw footage, photography, B-roll, and finished content Deliver content according to the agreed monthly schedule Incorporate reasonable feedback and revisions Launch and Event Support Help capture the development and opening of the Arizona studios Identify opportunities to document milestones, partnerships, and behind-the-scenes moments Turn PR coverage and educational topics into engaging social content Help create collaborative content with local wellness, medical, and community partners Provide occasional event coverage when agreed upon in advance Major events, additional filming sessions, or work beyond the standard monthly scope will be discussed and compensated separately. Standard Monthly Scope The initial monthly engagement is expected to include: One monthly content-planning session Two onsite filming sessions Approximately 6-8 edited short-form videos First-draft captions for completed videos A reusable selection of photos and B-roll Occasional Story assets or simple graphics Organized delivery of raw and finished content One monthly review and feedback session What This Role Does Not Own The Arizona marketing lead will remain responsible for: The master content calendar Final campaign strategy and priorities Final copy and creative approval Publishing and scheduling Routine comment and direct-message management Coordination with PR and SEO partners Reporting and overall marketing performance This role is focused on generating ideas and creating excellent content - not managing every part of the social media program. Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Have experience creating short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or similar platforms Have a portfolio demonstrating strong filming and editing ability Are comfortable directing trainers, members, and partners on camera Understand hooks, pacing, storytelling, and mobile-first creative Can turn one filming session into several distinct pieces of content Have strong written communication skills and can draft engaging captions Are organized, responsive, dependable, and comfortable working independently Bring your own ideas rather than waiting to be told exactly what to film Understand current social trends without needing to copy every trend Have an interest in fitness, wellness, longevity, recovery, or healthy aging Are based near Scottsdale or Paradise Valley and can reliably attend onsite shoots and agreed-upon events Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, Instagram Reels, TikTok, or similar tools is preferred. Professional camera equipment is helpful but not required. We care most about your ability to consistently produce polished, engaging, mobile-first content. About The Smart Fit Method The Smart Fit Method combines advanced fitness technology, personalized coaching, and efficient training to help people build strength, improve cardiovascular fitness, recover effectively, and stay healthier as they age. As we grow in Arizona, we are looking for someone who can capture what makes the experience different and help introduce it to the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley communities. Compensation and Trial Period Compensation is $1,000-$1,250 per month , based on experience, portfolio quality, and the final agreed scope. The engagement will begin with a 30-day paid trial . At the end of the trial, we will review content quality, reliability, communication, creative fit, and the ongoing needs of the Arizona studios. There may be an opportunity to continue or expand the engagement following the Arizona launch.
