Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies, including event marketing campaigns, to promote brand awareness and engagement. Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events such as conferences, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, and hospitality functions, ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently. Manage event budgets meticulously, negotiating contracts with vendors, caterers, venues, and suppliers to maximize value and uphold quality standards. Oversee all aspects of event management software and CRM systems to track attendee data, streamline communications, and measure campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution, including venue setup, catering arrangements, guest services, and audiovisual requirements. Lead negotiations with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and ensuring a positive experience for all event attendees. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills while maintaining attention to detail. Coordinate with the sales team on upselling opportunities during events to enhance revenue streams. Skills Proven experience in event planning, management software proficiency, and hospitality industry background including hotel or restaurant experience. Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell products or services effectively. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team leadership, and vendor negotiations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for planning documents and presentations. Familiarity with CRM systems for customer relationship management and data tracking. Sound project management capabilities with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently. Knowledge of event marketing strategies including social media promotion and community outreach initiatives. Exceptional organizational skills paired with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments such as hotels or banquet settings. Experience managing contracts related to catering, venue hire, entertainment, or equipment rentals is highly desirable.
