POSITION SUMMARY
The Brand & Creative Associate supports Junior Achievement North's marketing and communications efforts by helping bring our brand, programs, stories, and impact to life across a variety of internal and external channels. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys creating content, organizing information, executing tasks, and helping teams communicate clearly and consistently. The Brand & Creative Associate will serve as an important day-to-day resource for internal content needs while also contributing to external marketing efforts, including social media, newsletters, program materials, and other communications. Success in this role will require a strong communicator who is organized, creative, adaptable, and attentive to detail. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities, can build positive relationships with colleagues across the organization, and brings curiosity and a service-oriented approach to supporting others. They are able to balance creativity with consistency, exercise good judgment when applying Junior Achievement North's brand and voice to visual and written content and take ownership of projects from initial request through completion. Working closely with the Director of Brand Strategy and colleagues across the Advancement Team and the broader organization, the Brand & Creative Associate will help ensure that Junior Achievement North's communications are engaging, accessible, on-brand, and connected to our mission of bringing more real-world learning experiences to students in our communities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal Content & Marketing Support Serve as a primary resource for smaller and routine internal marketing requests from teams across Junior Achievement North. Help staff turn ideas, information, and program needs into clear, polished, and audience-appropriate communications and materials. Develop and update internal communications, presentations, flyers, announcements, and other materials as needed. Coordinate and prioritize incoming content requests, helping determine timelines, needed information, and appropriate next steps. Maintain organized templates, marketing resources, brand assets, and other commonly used materials. Support the development of internal campaigns, staff communications, organizational events, and other projects as assigned. Social Media & External Content Support the planning, creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across Junior Achievement North's social media channels. Develop social media copy, graphics, short-form content, and other digital assets that highlight Junior Achievement North's programs, people, partnerships, events, and impact. Help identify stories and content opportunities from across the organization and translate them into compelling external communications. Support content calendars and contribute ideas for timely, relevant, and engaging content. Monitor social media engagement and help track basic performance metrics to inform future content. Ensure external content follows Junior Achievement North's brand, voice, accessibility, and communications standards. General Marketing Support Contribute to a wide range of marketing projects assigned by the Director of Brand Strategy. Collaborate with members of the Advancement Team, including Development and Communications colleagues, to support broader organizational priorities. Assist with basic content research, proofreading, editing, photography/video coordination, and other creative or administrative marketing tasks. Stay current on emerging content trends, relevant social media strategies, and digital marketing practices and identify opportunities to strengthen Junior Achievement North's communications. Participate in team meetings, planning, and organizational activities as appropriate. Other projects and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, social media, or related field. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to create clear, engaging content for different audiences and communication channels. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other relevant creative digital software. Ability to provide samples of previous creative marketing work, visual and/or written. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, requests, and deadlines. Comfort working collaboratively with people across different teams and areas of an organization. Ability to learn and consistently apply brand guidelines, voice, and visual standards.
