Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Freelance Paid Media Planner to develop and execute integrated paid media strategies across a broad channel mix. This is a hands-on role for an experienced media professional who can hit the ground running. We are looking for someone with expertise thinking strategically, planning precisely, and managing executional details with minimal oversight. What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive, data-driven paid media plans spanning digital, social, out of-home (OOH/billboard), linear TV, Connected TV (CTV), and streaming platforms
- Translate campaign goals and target audiences into channel-specific strategies with clear rationale, budget allocation, and projected outcomes
- Build and present media plans including flowcharts, budget breakdowns, audience targeting rationale, and KPI frameworks
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate placements, and oversee trafficking and execution across all channels
- Coordinate with creative and brand teams to ensure assets meet channel specs and timelines
- Monitor campaign performance, optimize in-flight, and deliver clear post-campaign reporting with actionable insights
- Apply local market expertise to develop geo-targeted strategies that resonate at the regional and community level
- Leverage sports marketing knowledge to plan around tentpole moments, season start/pause/resume needs, and sports-adjacent audiences where applicable
