Description We're looking for a Technical Product Manager with a real passion for media to join our Partner Data and Analytics team. This position will work with colleagues from a diverse set of product and engineering partners to design and build innovative reporting products that exceed industry standards and provide our partners with clear, accurate, and actionable insights. This role will combine your passion for the App Store with data to chart a strategic course. We are looking for someone who wants to collaborate with similarly passionate people at all levels and be part of the team responsible for building the reporting and data products used globally by our partners across a wide range of content types, including apps, music, film, and books. Responsibilities Support the vision, strategy, and overall success for the reporting used by our App Store developers Conceptualize a compelling data product roadmap and delivering clear user stories and specifications Collaborate with peers from product, business, analytics, engineering, and operations to take on sophisticated and meaningful problems with data Deliver new and innovative partner-facing data products, features, and improvements In partnership with data scientists, ideate new metrics and KPIs that turn large amounts of data into clear, actionable, and easy-to-use reports Provide in-depth due diligence and requirements for all changes to upstream systems and data pipelines to ensure accuracy and continuity across data products Draft and maintain guides and supporting documentation available to App Store developers Work closely with engineering teams to implement and test new features and improvements to reporting products, turning your ideas into code that lasts Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing software products from ideation to launch, including building requirements, prioritizing features, and managing stakeholders 5+ years of experience using data analytics and business intelligence reporting products 3+ years of professional experience supporting applications on the App Store Preferred Qualifications Proven track record to query large datasets using SQL, Python, and similar languages to distill your findings into easy-to-understand analyses Intellectual curiosity and an utmost attention to detail that drives you to self-audit your work and understand sophisticated systems Ability to clearly and optimally communicate and manage relationships with a diverse group of partners Capability to run multiple projects and responsibilities in a multifaceted and cross-functional environment Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
