The Senior Global Product Manager for Wound Care is responsible for the management of the global wound care portfolio. This includes defining long-term product and portfolio strategies, leading product development initiatives, and ensuring successful product launches and continuous market optimization. The Senior Global Product Manager also oversees product profitability, portfolio performance, cost optimization and competitiveness, supports pricing, position decisions and sustainable market expansion. The role ensures that the global portfolio addresses the differing needs of key markets while maintaining an appropriate level of global harmonization. This includes consideration of regional regulatory requirements, standards of care, reimbursement systems, tender structures, clinical practices, customer expectations and market-access requirements. Close collaboration with contract manufacturers and other partners to translate clinical, commercial, regulatory and regional market requirements into viable product solutions.

Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Innovation:

Develop the global wound care product and brand strategy, product roadmaps, innovation priorities, value propositions, and differentiated product claims based on clinical needs, market trends, and business objectives.

Market & Customer Insights:

Analyze clinical practices, treatment pathways, customer needs, competitor activity, pricing, reimbursement, and emerging healthcare trends to identify market opportunities and portfolio gaps.

Product Development:

Translate clinical, customer, commercial, regulatory, and regional requirements into product specifications and collaborate with manufacturers and external partners on product selection, development, customization, testing, and validation.

Go-to-Market & Launch:

Lead global launch planning, including product positioning, target markets, competitive differentiation, pricing input, market requirements, training, customer evaluations, and post-launch performance monitoring.

Portfolio Management:

Monitor revenue, margin, market share, and other portfolio KPIs. Identify opportunities for product improvements, cost reductions, extensions, repositioning, sourcing changes, and product phase-outs.

Regulatory & Compliance:

Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Quality to ensure products, claims, labeling, documentation, and market introductions meet applicable international and regional medical device requirements.

Sales Enablement:

Serve as the strategic product expert for the global wound care portfolio by providing product training, clinical education, sales tools, customer presentations, and clear product documentation.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, manufacturers, and other internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute portfolio and product strategies.

Continuous Improvement:

Use market intelligence, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and business performance data to continuously improve the wound care portfolio and strengthen the company's competitive position.
