Job Description
Rhode Island FC, a professional soccer club competing in the USL Championship, is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented college interns for the Fall 2026 season. This comprehensive internship program provides invaluable hands-on experience in the Marketing Department. Interns will gain direct exposure to the diverse functions that drive a professional sports organization, contributing to both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. This position is for a seasonal internship, with a projected start date that can be flexible to align with academic calendars. Educational Experience Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program and eligible to receive college credit. This internship is for college credit only and is limited to no more than 28 hours per week. Qualifications Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace is required. A passion for sports, marketing, fan engagement, community involvement, and the business of live entertainment is preferred. Prior experience in sales, customer service, event management, media relations, journalism, or public relations is a plus. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Familiarity with digital media management tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, LinkedIn, SponsorUnited, or similar platforms is a plus. Availability to work evenings, weekends, game days, and events as needed is required.
