Mason/Chimney Sweep Apprentice

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice to join our growing team. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and experience in the chimney and masonry field, providing an excellent opportunity to learn from skilled professionals. Some constriction field experience preferred but not necessary. The Apprentice will assist in various tasks related to chimney cleaning, inspections and repairs gaining valuable knowledge in this industry. Duties Assist experienced chimney experts in the installation, maintenance, and repair of chimneys and fireplaces. Engage in continuous hands on, and online training. Utilize hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters under supervision. Support the team on job sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. Qualifications Must be comfortable with heights and climbing ladders, working on roof. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices. Dependable transportation, valid driver's license, ability to be insured . Strong willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the chimney and masonry field. Good mechanical aptitude and communication skills, as everything we do centers around teamwork. Must be able to pass any required background checks or pre-employment screenings.
