Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep production running smoothly, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards across the facility. Responsibilities Perform mechanical repairs on gasoline and diesel golf course equipment in a timely and precise manner. Maintain all equipment in safe and operable condition. Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all equipment. Order parts and supplies as needed while tracking inventory and expenses for budget purposes. Inspect, diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical defects in golf course equipment. Perform mower grinding and sharpening, overhaul motors and reels, and install or adjust braking systems. Conduct machining and welding work to fabricate fittings for equipment. Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance, repairs, and part orders. Assist with training and orientation of new staff members. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the equipment shop and maintenance facilities.
