You will serve as the primary technical liaison for our clients, driving business development initiatives while mentoring junior staff to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes. Responsibilities Direct the full project lifecycle, including defining success criteria, managing critical paths, and ensuring adherence to strict budget and schedule constraints. Lead client engagement efforts by cultivating relationships, identifying new business leads, and participating in proposal development and interviews. Oversee the production of technical reports, calculations, and design specifications, ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous quality assurance standards. Provide construction administration support, including reviewing submittals, resolving RFIs, and conducting site visits to verify design conformance. Foster team growth by mentoring junior engineers, developing internal training programs, and refining mechanical design procedures and software workflows. Analyze project performance through post-completion reviews to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements for future work. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Active Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. 6+ years of progressive project experience within the AEC sector. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Strong command of MS Office Suite for technical reporting and presentations. Preferred Skills Proven track record in business development and client management. Experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams and contractors. Demonstrated ability to author technical papers or industry-related publications. Expertise in project scheduling software and resource allocation methodologies.
