Job Description

Retina Consultants is a private vitreoretinal practice with more than 25 years of providing care to those in our communities. Our practice continues to grow and we are seeking to hire a full-time Ophthalmic Assistant / Technician to assist our existing team! This full-time individual will be working primarily in our North Seattle clinic with the rare possibility of travel to our Bellevue and / or Everett clinic locations. We are a private medical practice that provides quality ophthalmic retina care and treatment to patients. We also provide a friendly, team oriented working environment for our staff. While we offer one of the best working teams to be a part of, we expect the very best from our staff as well. What would it take to be part of our team? The ideal applicants are compassionate, a multi-tasker, computer literate, customer service oriented, dependable, comfortable learning new skills and systems, and be a team player.
QUALIFICATIONS
We require a minimum of 1 year experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician. Experience in retina is a competitive advantage, but not required. Additional required skills include the ability to be proactive, team-oriented, self-starter, excellent communication skills, patience, empathy and ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment are highly desirable skills.

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
