Medical Biller/AR Specialist

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate billing processes. This person must be willing to work hard, focus on the details of a claim to resolution, and has excellent organizational skills. A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, is dependable, and maintains an excellent attendance record. Reviews EOBs and ensures all denials are addressed in a timely manner Reviews AR to ensure all accounts are billed and paid timely Respond to inquiries from patients regarding their bills and insurance claims. Bills patients for medical services Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding practices. Skills Proficiency in medical billing systems and software applications. Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding standards, including ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG. Excellent problem solver Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. Strong analytical skills for problem-solving within billing processes. Familiarity with medical records management practices.
