Teaching Full Job Description Position Overview:

Bultum Academy Charter School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Social Studies Teacher to inspire students in grades 5-8. The ideal candidate will create engaging, standards-aligned lessons that foster critical thinking, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of history, geography, civics, and global studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver dynamic, inquiry-based Social Studies lessons. Promote student engagement through discussions, projects, and real-world connections. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular learning. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners. Participate in school events, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, History, or related field (Master's preferred). Valid teaching certification in Social Studies (or equivalent). Experience teaching middle school students (preferred).
