Job Description
Role Overview As a full‑time Midwife , you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care at a multispecialty clinic in Monroe, New York . The role includes outpatient women's health and prenatal services, with hospital affiliations at Phelps Memorial and White Plains Hospital for coordinated continuity of care.
Schedule:
Part Time and Full Time positions available.Compensation:
$120,000 - $125,000 + benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and others.Responsibilities:
Provide prenatal care — conduct routine prenatal visits, fetal assessments, and pregnancy education. Perform gynecologic exams — Pap smears, breast exams, STI testing, and contraceptive counseling. Manage common women's health conditions — menstrual disorders, perimenopause, infections, and chronic reproductive issues. Provide patient education — pregnancy, postpartum care, contraception, breastfeeding, and wellness. Collaborate with OB/GYNs — coordinate care for high‑risk pregnancies or complex cases. Support postpartum patients — follow‑up visits, mood screening, lactation support, and recovery monitoring. Maintain accurate documentation — EMR charting, care plans, and follow‑up notes. Participate in quality improvement — contribute to clinic protocols, patient satisfaction, and workflow optimization.Qualifications:
Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Certified Midwife (CM) in New York Master's degree in Nursing or Midwifery from an accredited program. National certification through AMCB or equivalent. Experience in outpatient women's health , prenatal care, and gynecologic services. Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage low‑risk pregnancies independently. Proficiency with EMR systems and documentation standards. Cultural competence and ability to support diverse patient populations.Job Types:
