Nutrition Assistant (part time)

The Newton School is looking for a friendly and dependable Part-Time Nutrition Assistant to support our school meal program in South Strafford, Vermont.

Responsibilities include: Assisting with meal preparation and servingMaintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areasFollowing food safety and sanitation guidelinesSupporting inventory and basic kitchen organization

Qualifications:

Nutrition experience is a plus, but training will be providedAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsPositive attitude and reliability

Schedule:

Part-time, primarily daytime hours during the school week

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience and education as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement for support staff.
