Custodian (part time)

The Newton School in South Strafford, Vermont is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.

Responsibilities include: Daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areasSweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removalLight maintenance tasks as neededEnsuring building security during assigned shifts

Qualifications:

Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong attention to detail and reliabilityAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks

Schedule:

Part-time hours, typically afternoons/evenings (flexible schedule may be available)
