Occupational Therapist Acute Care

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through the provision of high-quality occupational therapy services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments to determine their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges in the adult hospital and acute rehabilitation unit (IRF) based patient. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for achieving optimal functional outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid NYS state license to practice occupational therapy. CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Pay:

$33.44 - $55.17 per hour
