Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic educational environment. In this contract role, you will collaborate with educators, families, and students to support individualized learning and promote student success. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about fostering independence and functional skills within a school setting.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience providing OT services in school environments strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to assess student needs and develop effective treatment plans Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff Comfort utilizing assistive technology and adaptive equipment Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' functional strengths and challenges related to school performance Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students across various grade levels Document interventions, progress, and outcomes according to school and legal guidelines Provide recommendations and training to staff and families to support carryover of skills Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the student support team Step into a role where your expertise empowers students to achieve greater independence and success both in and out of the classroom.
