• OR Essential Functions Develops an individualized plan of care based on nursing assessment, medical diagnoses, and knowledge of specific illnesses, injuries, diseases, surgical procedures and appropriate standards of care Collaborates with other disciplines to maximize patient outcomes and effect a smooth flow of the surgical experience Plans and utilizes resources efficiently to complete the daily schedule in a timely manner while providing safe and individualized patient care Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of special needs for various age groups including pediatric, adult and geriatric when providing resources for the perioperative experience Reassesses, evaluates and revises the implementation of the plan of care to meet the changing needs of the patient Responds appropriately to changes in the patient's condition and/or behavior Completes appropriate portions of the patient record accurately and thoroughly Function as a circulating nurse during multi-specialty surgical procedures Must be willing and able to adjust schedule depending upon the needs of the company Must present self at the workstation, ready for work, at the scheduled time Participates in department and company meetings, as requested Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Education & Licensing Graduate of an NLN accredited school of registered nursing required Current licensure as a RN in the State of WI or ability to obtain WI licensure prior to start date required BLS, ACLS and PALS required•will provide upon hire Certified Nurse•Operating Room, Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) recommended Experience At least 1 year of OR experience in a multispecialty setting in the last 3-5 years required Join us in delivering outstanding surgical care while enjoying a lively work environment that values your expertise!
