Orbital Welding Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineering - Orbital Welding Anoka, MN $89,300 - $165,800 + Relocation Assistance We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with strong orbital welding expertise to lead stainless tube fabrication and manufacturing engineering operations for advanced liquid cooling products. This is a direct hire opportunity with relocation assistance available.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee orbital welding processes, fixture design, and sanitary stainless tube fabrication Drive process improvements across welding, cleaning, passivation, and electropolishing operations Lead automation initiatives and integration of new manufacturing processes Manage capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing tools Ensure safety, quality, and production excellence across manufacturing operations

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Welding Engineering, Materials/Metallurgical Engineering, or related engineering field 10+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience preferred Direct hands-on orbital welding experience is required Strong stainless-steel tube fabrication background Previous leadership or people management experience preffered Experience with manufacturing process development, FMEA, Lean manufacturing, RCCM, Gage R&R, and Cpk studies

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with tube cleaning, passivation, electropolishing, or laser welding Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification or willingness to obtain
