Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs using excellent communication skills and phone etiquette Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits during customer interactions, including product demos when appropriate Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting for shoppers Conduct basic retail math to handle transactions accurately and manage cash register balances at shift end Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction Monitor store security through CCTV surveillance, perform safety checks, and follow protocols for store safety during overnight hours Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings is a plus Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous for potential growth opportunities Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light stocking duties, and work independently during overnight hours Excellent phone etiquette skills combined with a friendly, approachable demeanor Basic math skills necessary for balancing registers and processing transactions accurately Join us as an Overnight Cashier and be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering outstanding service around the clock!
