Penn Waste is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, dayshift weighmaster.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Weigh trucks coming in and out of the transfer station. Understand the importance of radiation monitoring and be able to address situations as needed. Generate and maintain scale tickets and transfer station edits. Sort daily paperwork and distribute accordingly. Other duties as assigned to assist with the smooth operation of the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1-2 years relevant work experience. Strong computer skills. Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Working knowledge of the waste industry is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The job is normally performed indoors. The ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to move about the office occasionally, is required. Good manual dexterity is required to use common office equipment in an office environment. Occasionally, the job may require climbing on a truck to inspect the contents. Print
