Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
School Based Occupational Therapist Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide part-time services within a school-based setting in East Jordan, MI. This role supports students in developing the skills needed to succeed academically, socially, and in daily school activities. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about working with children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate K-12th Grade students to assess fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success Adapt classroom materials and environments to meet student needs Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy Current Michigan Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations is a plus Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Schedule:
Part-time hours aligned with the school calendar 3 Days Per Week 21 Hours Per Week Flexible scheduling options available
