This is a great opportunity for a doctor who enjoys a balance of surgery and general practice in a supportive, well-equipped hospital environment.

Schedule Tuesdays:

Surgery day beginning at 8:30 AM until procedures are completed (~4 surgeries including dentals) with two surgery technicians.

Wednesdays:

Appointment day from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (last appointment scheduled at 4:30 PM) The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing: Canine and feline dentals including extractions Spays and neuters (including cryptorchids) Mass removals Pyometra surgeries Soft tissue procedures including: Enterotomy Gastrotomy Splenectomy Cystotomy Resection and anastomosis Exploratory/laparotomy procedures What We Offer Supportive and collaborative team environment 30-minute appointments Fear Free-focused clinic environment Closed daily for lunch from 12 PM - 1 PM Well-equipped facility including: Digital radiography Digital dental radiography Separate surgical suite Biovet anesthesia monitoring In-house Idexx laboratory High-speed dental drill and scaler/polisher Qualifications DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school Active veterinary license in Connecticut (or ability to obtain) Strong surgical and dental skills preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, client-focused approach to medicine If you are looking for a flexible part-time opportunity with an experienced support team and quality equipment, we would love to hear from you!
