Patient Observer

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Patient Observer, a vital role committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of patients within the hospital. In this position, you will provide supervision of patients who require close monitoring and help create a secure environment for both patients and staff. Day and Night shifts available. Responsibilities Continuously monitor designated patients to prevent self-harm or injury, ensuring their safety at all times Observe patient behavior closely and document any significant changes or concerns in accordance with hospital protocols Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control procedures and hospital safety policies Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient status and observations Support patients' emotional well-being through compassionate interaction and reassurance Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent Certification in basic life support (BLS) is required to ensure preparedness for emergency situations is required. Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and empathy

Pay:

$14.00 per hour Shift availability: Night Shift (Preferred) Day Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred)
