Payroll Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $23 to $26 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Preparing, processing payroll, while handling payroll queries from employees. Ensuring compliance with tax laws and maintaining accurate financial records and employee data. Handle direct deposits and distribute physical paychecks for distribution Obtaining approvals and adjust pay based on changes. Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions s as required. Cooperate with different departments to enhance payroll service performance.

Qualifications :

HS Diploma required, Associate's/Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred 5+ years working in payroll or similar role Strong knowledge basic accounting principles and payroll practices Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and accounting software's

Experience:

2+ years of experience in human resources or a related field. Excellent detail-oriented with strong organizational skill. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly. REF #48926 #LI-POST #ZR
