If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are working with companies in Wayland that are adding Payroll Specialists to their teams. Key Responsibilities Process multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. Reconcile payroll data, general ledger accounts, and tax filings. Administer timekeeping system and resolve employee payroll discrepancies. Calculate and process deductions, garnishments, and benefits contributions. Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports for management and accounting. Recommended Qualifications 3+ years experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG) and HRIS systems. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax laws and wage and hour compliance. Experience with timekeeping systems and their integration with payroll. Ability to perform detailed reconciliations and resolve payroll discrepancies accurately and efficiently.
