Your Responsibilities as aTherapy South Employee:

Evaluate, screen, and provide treatment for pediatric developmental conditions or feeding disorders in children. Provide assessment and/or consultation regarding gross motor, fine motor, oral-motor, feeding skills, sensory health and social function, according to each learner's needs. Develop, document, write, and clearly communicate treatment goals and treatment plans that honors the child's present level, the family's unique abilities, and a realistic timeline. Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals at Therapy South. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support optimal client success. Contribute to clinical meetings and support the unique and rich culture at Therapy South. Manage caseload details and work with caregivers to achieve common goals. Complete all required documentation accurately, on time, and in accordance with department standards; in addition, documentation complies with patient insurance requirements. Support the family and/or admin team with schedule management, which may include assisting with appointment confirmations, cancellations and/or rescheduling. Qualifications for thisRole:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. California state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Occupational Therapy Ability to lift 50 pounds and move easily on the floor during therapy sessions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills.Conditions of Employment:
