Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting children's communication and learning needs in a welcoming, well-resourced district located near Bolingbrook, IL. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to create a positive impact in pediatric and school-based settings, with the advantage of strong district support and resources. The role is designed as a leave position, with the possibility of renewal based on district needs.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision Illinois state licensure (or eligibility) Background in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings preferred Experience with IEPs, student evaluations, and working with diverse student populations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Dedication to collaborative, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document and report on student outcomes and maintain accurate records Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to academic planning Provide engaging, evidence-based interventions to support student success in and out of the classroom
