Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role providing speech and language services to students across K-12 settings in a supportive educational environment. With a contract running from August 19, 2026, through June 7, 2027, this full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in students' lives. The position welcomes candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CFY), experienced SLP-CCC practitioners, or those with pediatric and school-based experience eager to foster communication and learning for diverse learners.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Illinois state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility) Expertise in evaluating and treating pediatric speech and language disorders Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) preferred; strong consideration for CFY candidates Ability to manage a dynamic K-12 caseload within a school setting Proficiency with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaborative practiceKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school staff to support students' goals Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district documentation guidelines Enjoy competitive hourly pay ranging from $40 to $60, weekly pay cycles, healthcare coverage including health, dental, and vision plans, 401k enrollment options, and opportunities for continuing education reimbursement.
