Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to support student communication needs during the 2026/2027 school year. This position involves a 0.4 FTE contract in a school setting located in La Conner, WA. It is ideal for passionate professionals eager to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist credentials, including CCC certification. Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings. Knowledge and skill in delivering teletherapy services. Candidates who have completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply. Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy tailored to student needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy goals. Provide direct therapy services that address articulation, fluency, language, and voice disorders. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Utilize both in-person and teletherapy methods to deliver effective treatment. Maintain appropriate documentation following regulatory and professional standards.
