Job Description

Per Diem Occupational Therapist:
Sign On Bonus $2500 $2500 Sign-On Bonus (per diem; requires meeting minimum hours per agreement)
Schedule :
Three (3) shifts per calendar month | Regularly covering weekend shifts is expected | Two (2) holidays per year.

This Role:

The Occupational Therapist plans, organizes, and conducts occupational therapy programs to facilitate development and rehabilitation of mentally, physically, or emotionally disabled persons. 65 / hour Key Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities, analyzing medical data to set realistic rehabilitation goals. Track and document patients' progress, preparing detailed reports on improvements or areas requiring additional support. Plan, organize, and implement occupational therapy programs tailored to individual patient needs. Select and design activities to help patients develop work and life-management skills, considering their physical and mental capabilities. Recommend environmental adjustments in patients' work or living spaces to improve independence and quality of life. Develop and facilitate social programs to help patients learn or regain skills necessary for work, school, or daily living. Prepare and organize therapeutic materials (e.g., puzzles, scissors, eating utensils) for use during therapy sessions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies. Lead training sessions to educate patients and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and objectives.   • 5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current Occupational Therapy state license. Excellent verbal and written communication. Position requires the ability to lift and move objects, weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
