Choreographers should have experience teaching Hip-Hop, Majorette, or related dance styles.

Responsibilities:

Lead two structured team practices each week. Create and teach age-appropriate choreography. Prepare dancers for parades, community events, showcases, and paid performances. Maintain a consistent rehearsal and performance schedule. Track team progress and ensure dancers are performance-ready. Communicate professionally and consistently with parents and XMotive management. Attend all performances and remain with the assigned team throughout each event. Help recruit new dancers and retain current team members. Promote teamwork, discipline, confidence, and a positive studio environment.

Compensation and Incentives:

Base pay of $25 per hour for approved practices and assignments. Monthly recruitment and retention incentives based on the number of active, paying dancers assigned to the choreographer's team. Additional bonus opportunities may be available when the team participates in paid bookings or special events. Paid-event bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on the specific booking.

Qualifications:

Experience teaching or choreographing Hip-Hop, Majorette, or performance dance. Comfortable working with dancers ages 7-12, 13-20, and/or adults 21+. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Dependable transportation and availability for practices and performances. Must be professional, consistent, encouraging, and comfortable communicating with parents.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
